Joel Madden not filing complaint against BA agent, but agent still gets disciplined
While Joel Madden just made it clear on his Good Charlotte blog that he isn’t filing any complaint against the British agent that almost did not allow him to board the plain if he would not cover his tattoos, BA bosses are still firm to give that agent a disciplinary action.
“They gave me a little card to fill out. But like i said it really isn’t my style to cause a scene, so ultimately it would be up to me to complain, and i’m not going to file one,” Joel Madden wrote on his blog yesterday.
But since bosses from the British Airways were as baffled as Nicole Richie’s boyfriend for there wasn’t anything in their rulebook about tattoos, the unnamed employee was confirmed to have already been reprimanded.
“We don’t understand why the employee took it upon himself to enforce regulations that don’t exist,” a spokesperson of the company told TMZ.com to clarify about the situation that apparently brought negative marketing for the company.
And negative image that is, BA would probably have to do a lot of fixing with their image and branding now after that.
That employee better be sorry now. Who knows if it’s not just Joel Madden who has experienced an out of this world discrimination (discrimination in any form is just ridiculous for me) from that agent.
I do not have any tattoos with me as I always have feared needles and blood – in my next life, I probably would have – but never did I think anybody could get discriminated for having one.
