His is one of those celebrity Twitter profiles I enjoy to visit again and again everyday. He’s unexpectedly witty, humorous, and full of insights. And so when I learned that he’s ‘lightly’ penning a book about himself, I couldn’t be any happier for Joel Madden.

That’s right! From being a rocker to a producer and father, People reports that Nicole Richie’s man is exploring on being an author.

Talking to the online mag at the Hollywood Stars Celebrity Softball game at Dodger Stadium, Joel confirms, “I’m lightly working on one. But I don’t want to put a book out there if it’s not actually meaningful. I’m not going to go there unless I can deliver.”

The Good Charlotte frontman further shared, “It would be about my life, It would be about, mostly, the big changes in my life: Kids, relationships, moving to L.A…the big life changes that I’ve gone through.”

But unlike other celebrities who have already released their books, Joel admits that his book wouldn’t be the typical celebrity tell-all.

“If I put a book out, I want it to be something that matters to me. It has to be real, you can’t just put a book out, to put a book out,” said the soon-to-be father of two.

“I want every page to mean something,” he ended.

Well this would be one book I sure would look forward to. Aside from wanting to read more about Joel Madden, I know his book would take us to that side of him people do not know a lot of.

Today in Nicole Richie Watch, let’s all check out these babes and their cool tattoos.

Megan Fox

Fierce look and fierce body; that’s not just what Megan Fox has. Aside from her overflowing sex appeal, Megan’s also known for owning more than seven tattoos. This Marily Monroe in her right arm is one of her most famous inks.

Rihanna

Aside from that great voice and edgy fashion sense, Rihanna’s pattern of stars on the back of her neck has also been one of the singer’s “hey look at me” weapon. Love this tattoos; not so loud but definitely a head-turner.

Jessica Alba

Adding to her sex appeal, this Sanskrit character for lotus flower on her wrist is just one of Jessica’s several tattoos including a flower and a ladybug on the back of her neck and a bow tattoo on the small of her back.

Whew! Looking at these stars and their inks, gives me one thought: stars + tattoos = SEXY!

If they do that wouldn’t be too surprising right?

As most of you know – if you don’t, now you do – Nicole Richie is Michael Jackson’s godchild. Now that the King of Pop has rest in peace already, many are actually wondering if Nicole Richie and her boyfriend, Joel Madden are considering of naming their second baby after Jacko.

Star Magazine sources report that the couple has decided to call the new addition to their family Michael or Michelle (Nicole insists not to find out their baby’s sex until she gives birth) in honor of the pop icon.

A friend of the two shares, “She wasn’t planning on naming the baby after him, but she thinks its fitting now that he’s gone.”

“Joel is OK with the choices. He was a big fan of Michael too,” adds a spy.

“Nicole is devastated by Michael’s death. She loved him, and it happened so suddenly.”

With Michael Jackson’s death, I actually think it would not just be Nicole and Joel – granting this report is true – who would name their kid after the King of Pop. Michael is after all a legend.

But while Nicole is rumored to name her next bub after Michael Jackson, her once BFF, Paris Hilton claims that the latter named his only daughter after her.

Talking to Extra TV, Paris shares, “My mom and Michael went to high school together and they were best friends since they were 13,” Paris explains. “So I grew up knowing Michael very well and when he had his daughter, he always loved the name Paris and grew up being an uncle to me. So he asked my mom if it was okay and of course she said yes and I think she’s such a beautiful little girl and I’m proud we have the same name.”

Oh well, back to Nicole, what do you think of her naming her second bub after Michael?

Friendship in Hollywood is sometimes not a forever thing. Your best friends now may turn estrange with you in a few years; the same thing that happened to Nicole Richie and once-pal, Mischa Barton. So what happened with these two?

Well People reports that apparently, Mischa’s behavior – the extreme partying and reported drug and alcohol use – over the past two years was one of the reasons she lost some of her close pals, including Nicole Richie.

A source told People, “In the last few years, her dark side has really come out. Her friends, like Nicole, want to be supportive but they really can’t be around her too much. She’s too volatile.”

“It makes us sad, but we’re also like, ‘Pull it together and get help already,” added the source.

And since Nicole has apparently straightened her path already – being a mother and a partner at the same time – friendship with Mischa at these times would probably at the least of her priorities.

“Nicole is focused on motherhood and her family,” a source close to both Nicole and Mischa confirms this.

“[She] considers [Mischa] a dear friend but she’s also a mother who can’t be around too much negative, unsafe behavior. Mischa is one of the reasons that Nicole is mostly with her other mom friends these days, not the party girls.”

I actually feel bad for Mischa, really. With all the personal issues she’s been dealing with, plus no friends to turn to at these tough times, being under psychiatric hold is her only way to be better.

However, I do not blame Nicole to distance herself from Mischa these days. As a parent, I know how it feels to be protective over your children; wanting to keep them away from potential bad influences. If Mischa would just straighten out her life style, I’m sure Nicole would not mind hanging out with her again. That is, if she really straightens out.

Nicole Richie has once been known for being one of Hollywood’s bad girls and party maniacs. However, since giving birth to her eldest, Harlow Winter Kate, Nicole has apparently moved on to a different path; now being a mom and a girlfriend to Joel Madden. But does this mean partying is over for our petite fashionista?

Obviously not.

But unlike before, Nicole Richie’s partying now is in great moderation and with the right people. So who do I mean with the right people? Well someone who shares the same interest and life like hers now, fellow celebrity and young mom, Ashlee Simpson.

Yup, turning on to her Twitter, Nicole shared about the moms night out she had with Ashlee, saying, “Had a magical night with @ashsimpsonwentz. We sang to Cream, talked about incest, & tweezed a peice of wood out of my leg. TMI?”

Ashlee on the other hand shared a photo of her and Nicole during their night out with a caption, “Moms night out with @nicolerichie. I know angelina is jealous.”

Awww… isn’t it just great to see these moms having fun together? As a young mom like Nicole and Ashlee, I actually feel it’s still necessary to go out and have fun with friends once in a while. After all, being a doting mom and loving partner is sometimes a tiring you feel the need to have a little break once in a while.

Do you think Nicole has found her new BFF today through Ashlee? Well I would not doubt that. These days, the Richie-Maddens and the Simpson-Wentzs are obviously having a certain bond; they exchange twits to one another, support each other’s endeavor – Nicole and Pete once had a fashion show together, and tease each other.

At least we see Nicole’s in good company now.

On the decision to start the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation: I got like 10 cribs and 20 strollers. For one little girl! So we wanted to take the gifts we got and give them to the people who actually needed them. [We met with charity advising firm] Inspired Philanthropy, and they really opened our eyes. – Awww… such a generous heart their for someone once branded as a Hollywood bad girl.

On the paparazzi: It is scary. I don’t want that around her, I just don’t … it’s definitely the thing that makes me most nervous. [But] I’m the luckiest girl alive right now. I have nothing to complain about. – Well papz will always be papz; if the Jolie-Pitts were able to handle it well, so can the Richie-Maddens.

On complaints that she attended events at a few weeks postpartum: You know what? (furrows brow) I was gone for maybe three hours. I never go out. I go four or five days without leaving my house. But the press just went wild with it. [We have] a date night once a week. [Sometimes we see] a movie if the running time’s not too long. – And why has this been a big deal?

On tattoos: To be honest, it would completely break my heart if she got a tattoo! – Getting a doze of her own medicine, eh. Ah, motherhood!

On her close celebrity friends, such as Paris Hilton, Mischa Barton, and Mary-Kate Olsen: I feel like my group of five to ten friends, they really love [Harlow], like she’s theirs … my friends never go outside for smoke breaks anymore, they don’t curse, they are definitely more demure. It’s actually been really interesting. – Don’t you think this is one reason why Paris once was addicted to the thought of having her own child someday, too?

Sigh, it’s just a wonder what kind of change motherhood brings to a woman…

We are still here going on a backtrack of Nicole Richie’s interview with Harper’s Bazaar a year ago.

So far, we’ve read Nicole’s views on motherhood, on her relationship with Joel Madden, marriage, and children. This time, let’s go read on what Nicole’s thoughts on her pregnancy style, her post-pregnancy body, and how she’s changed her perspectives.

On her pregnancy style: It’s not like I blew up overnight. It gradually happened, and then I wasn’t pregnant anymore. When my jeans stopped fitting, I wore the Balenciaga riding pants. I like to be comfortable. Luckily for me, I’m completely comfortable in six-inch heels! – Yeah, lucky you Nicole. When I was pregnant, it was so hard for me to look for an outfit that I’d feel so comfortable in.

On her post-baby body: Half my wardrobe is already stretched. Not all my clothes fit the same. I don’t even think it’s a weight thing; I think your body just changes after you have a baby. I don’t care either way, but (gestures to newfound chest) I’m not used to having a tank top or bra underneath my clothes. You always hear that people with blond hair or larger breasts get more attention, but I never really thought that was real! I like wearing shirts that are a bit see-through because before it didn’t really matter. But now it’s like, ‘Uh-oh, I could get arrested.’ – Haha! I actually felt the same when I just gave birth; too proud of my new-found chest. LOL!

On changing perspectives and ideals: You know, I went through a stage of thinking that once you had a baby, you moved to Brentwood, had a white picket fence, and it changed your entire life. But I love where I am right now. Every single thing is for Harlow. Joel took me out last week, and he was like, ‘Why don’t we go out and have a shopping day?’ But I ended up only going to kid stores. (laughs) I didn’t get to buy shoes or anything. – Aww… I am sure things would be pretty much the same for the second baby in the family.

You’ve seen some touching photos of the Richie-Maddens in Harper’s Bazaar’s June 2008 issue. Now, let’s read on the interview that Nicole had in the issue. On this first part of our post we’ll see how Nicole described motherhood for the first time as well as trivial questions like Joel Madden, marriage, and more kids. Enjoy!

On describing motherhood so far: Hmm, I would say how fun it is. Everybody talks about how difficult it is in the first three months, but I absolutely love it. Everything I do is for her. My whole life revolves around her and I absolutely love it. I was so excited from the minute I found out I was pregnant … and it’s been nothing but an amazing ride since. – Obviously she enjoyed it so much, they’re adding more! Yipee! And I actually totally agree with her here.

On her and Joel’s opposite personalities: Yeah, for being so opposite, we could possibly hate each other. (smiles) [Joel is] very conservative. [He has] a different way of thinking. But at the same time, he’s never tried to change me. And if anything, we were friends first. – That’s why I really think they, two are each other’s match.

We just have fun together. When we’re apart, we just get on iChat and don’t even say anything to each other. (laughs) He likes to get girly sometimes. But he’d kill me if he knew I said that!

On Joel as a father: Joel actually changes more diapers than I do! It’s his time with her. He sings to her … he laughs with her, plays with her. It’s amazing.

On the topic of marriage and more kids: One day, yeah — not tomorrow, not today. We are committed to our family. I’m 26. I’ve definitely had a very eventful year. So right now, it’s about me enjoying my time with my daughter.

I want five children: twin boys and three girls. I’ve wanted that since I was a little girl.

While waiting for the next member of the family sends excitement to all of us, I’m actually feeling sentimental this particular day wanting to go back in those days where Nic and Joel just had their little Harlow.

And so I managed to compile some photos of the Richie-Maddens done for Harper’s Bazaar’s June 2008 issue. Join me in my sentimental mood today and be touched how one of Hollywood’s (once) bad girls found bliss in her domesticated life.

Here we see the former reality star with the Good Charlotte vocalist and the just-few-months Harlow in one of their first family picture. Awww…. Joel’s gesture here touched me the most. One of the many reasons why I wouldn’t believe on that National Enquirer report claiming he flirted all night while Nicole was waiting for him at home.

Posing to be doing the garden of their Glendale home, the Richie-Maddens just looked adorable here. I wonder though how the family really looks like when doing their gardens without the cameras; Nicole not dressed up while Joel cleaning the yard, and Harlow running around.

With those smiles from Nicole and her father Lionel, do we still wonder how blissful they all are with Harlow around? Now that the second baby’s coming we know that it’s double the fun!

So whom do you think Harlow got her looks? Even in this photo it was already apparent that the little girl was a mini Joel Madden.

Belonging to the rich and famous, it’s amazing how the family looks ordinary just by being together.

This is actually my favorite photo of all, that’s why I placed it last. I’m just so touched and almost teary-eyed looking in this photos. No words to describe this actually.

Sigh, in a perfect world, I would wish the Richie-Maddens stay this way all the time.

I know this was a year ago already, but it’s still great to go back and check out how Nicole Richie kicked asth (as Drew Barrymore pronounced it in the hit flick, Charlie’s Angels) on NBC’s hit show Chuck. Besides, I just took over this blog this year so I wasn’t able to blog about this happening in Nicole’s life.

The episode’s synopsis was: “Chuck (Zachary Levi) learns more about Sarah’s (Yvonne Strahovski) past when they run into her old high school nemesis Heather Chandler (guest star Nicole Richie). Sarah’s teenage insecurities come to surface and she tries to avoid Heather at all costs. Chuck, on the other hand, does everything he can to hear more about Sarah’s hidden life. When Heather’s nerdy husband Mark (Ben Savage) turns out to be a key player in a new mission, the agents must attend Sarah’s high school reunion to prevent the sale of potentially dangerous super-bomber plans — all the action ends with the ultimate cat fight. Meanwhile, Big Mike (Mark Christopher Lawrence) leaves town for a day and Buy More’s new assistant manager Lester (Vik Sahay) decides to implement a new sales policy.”

Playing a “sarcastic and spiteful girl who tortured Sarah at school,” Nicole did show some great comedic skills along with that kick-ass evil-side of her. I wasn’t able to take my eyes off that fighting scene; not when a Charlie’s Angels soundtrack is played and two hot girls fighting! Totally cool for Nicole!

This is one part of Nicole’s life I am sure she’d love to show her children someday.
