Nicole Richie Watch

I know this was a year ago already, but it’s still great to go back and check out how Nicole Richie kicked asth (as Drew Barrymore pronounced it in the hit flick, Charlie’s Angels) on NBC’s hit show Chuck. Besides, I just took over this blog this year so I wasn’t able to blog about this happening in Nicole’s life.

The episode’s synopsis was: “Chuck (Zachary Levi) learns more about Sarah’s (Yvonne Strahovski) past when they run into her old high school nemesis Heather Chandler (guest star Nicole Richie). Sarah’s teenage insecurities come to surface and she tries to avoid Heather at all costs. Chuck, on the other hand, does everything he can to hear more about Sarah’s hidden life. When Heather’s nerdy husband Mark (Ben Savage) turns out to be a key player in a new mission, the agents must attend Sarah’s high school reunion to prevent the sale of potentially dangerous super-bomber plans — all the action ends with the ultimate cat fight. Meanwhile, Big Mike (Mark Christopher Lawrence) leaves town for a day and Buy More’s new assistant manager Lester (Vik Sahay) decides to implement a new sales policy.”

Playing a “sarcastic and spiteful girl who tortured Sarah at school,” Nicole did show some great comedic skills along with that kick-ass evil-side of her. I wasn’t able to take my eyes off that fighting scene; not when a Charlie’s Angels soundtrack is played and two hot girls fighting! Totally cool for Nicole!

This is one part of Nicole’s life I am sure she’d love to show her children someday.

I know this has been a little late to post as I have been uber busy the previous weeks but just in case for those who missed it, Joel Madden – Nicole Richie boyfriend – has posted in his blog at the Good Charlotte official website about who he is voting for in the American Idol.

Here’s what Joel wrote:

“I’ve said it a few times, but this season American Idol is the first time i’ve ever been into the show. So far i’ve watched every week. I have a couple favorites, and tonight Nicole and I were at dinner, and we got to meet 2 of them!

Good Night.”

Unfortunately, Megan Joy Corkrey has just been voted out last week so I guess that leaves Matt Giraud for the couple to support.

Once again, fans of Nicole Richie would probably be disappointed to find out that reports claiming that the petite fashionista has signed for a new reality TV are actually untrue.

On one of my previous posts I mentioned that Nicole is already in to a negotiation for a reality TV show showcasing her life and family (with Joel, her partner, the Maddens, and her dad Lionel). However, a rep of the 27-year old personality quickly denies the rumors saying the reports are “unsubstantiated. This is false reporting.”

To recall, rumors of Nicole guest starring in Gossip Girls have also been denied to fans dismay.

Well I’m not really a huge Nicole Richie fan but I’m still kind of disappointed to know she won’t be back in the small screen so soon.

Two years after her relatively hit reality TV series, “The Simple Life” with best pal, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie’s television career seems to have been in a hiatus.

But now, like she has just been waiting for the right time and perfect opportunity, reports have it that the new mom is now ready to make her comeback in the small screen with a reality show that will focus on her family.

A year after she gave birth to her daughter with Joel Madden, Harlow, Nicole was said to have already been pitching to studio bosses earlier this month.

Star magazine reports, that aside from Nic, her partner Joel, Joel’s twin brother, Benji, and Nic’s dad, Lionel have all signed on to the project.

A source of the tabloid tells, “Nicole wants the world to know what it’s like to be a working mom with a rock star boyfriend.”

While New York Magazine’s Intel blog reports that Nicole Richie was in talks to appear on the Season 2 finale of the CW’s cultural phenomenon, Gossip Girls, fans may just brush-off the idea as updates reveal that Nicole isn’t actually going to be there.

Nicole Perna, rep of Nicole recently told Celebuzz.com, “It’s not true.”

Rumors of Nicole guest starring in Gossip Girls actually started when New York Daily News reported that Harlow’s mom “loves Gossip Girl and she wants a really b—hy, juicy role.”

Well I guess the Gossip Girls project just can’t squeeze in yet to Nic’s very busy schedule. She’s promoting her jewelry line, House of Harlow 1960 while talking with TV honchos about a small-screen adaptation of her novel, The Truth About Diamonds. And of course, Nicole is also managing the Richie Madden’s Foundation while taking the time to appear on NBC’s Chuck.

We have the new episode of the Simple Life uploaded for your viewing pleasure. It was my least favorite episode so far, but still a goodie.

The new episode of the Simple Life was great. It will be uploaded in the next day for your downloading pleasure. Nicole Richie was on Conan and she handled herself great. She was dressed well and had to answer a few questions about Paris as well as the new season of her reality TV show. Here is the video:
