Nicole: NO~! Is there really a rumour like that?! It wasn’t Michael Jackson! It was definitely my parents who named me! That’s the first time I ever heard that rumour!

Their daughter, Harlow Winter Kate has just turned 1 last January. And just months after that, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have already announced a second baby coming. With their family getting bigger, is marriage coming next between the couple?

Well apparently…. NOT.

Yes folks. In spite of reports claiming that the Simple Life star and the Good Charlotte vocalist are now seriously talking about wedding bells, Nicole Richie herself dismissed it in her latest interview to promote her jewelry line, House of Harlow 1960, in this month’s Japanese ViVi magazine where she said she’s not sure when — and if — she’ll wed Joel Madden, the father of her child.

She added, “I don’t know about the future. I make it a custom not to plan the future. I may plan to and I may not.”

Asked to name three good qualities of Joel, here’s what she got: “Good father! Talented musician! Good personality!”

Actually I so agree with Nicole here. You know having children is not the only reason to get married. Of course it’s a factor to consider but not enough to walk down the aisle and say “I do”. Love of course is also out of the question, we know and we see that Nicole and Joel love each other; it’s just that maybe, as Nic put it, it’s just something to be left in the future’s hands.

My point here is that let’s just not put pressure on both Nicole and Joel about the M word just because their family expanding. They of course know what’s best for them and for their family.

With their second baby on the way, it is quite inevitable for Joel Madden and Nicole Richie to be bombarded with wedding questions again. After all, People’s second most powerful celeb couple has been vocal about them thinking of getting married.

In Touch Weekly magazine reports that Joel and Nic are seriously considering the matter now that their family is getting bigger.

A source close to the pal tells the publication, “They are old-fashioned in some ways. Now their second baby is coming, they both want to make it legal.”

Nicole was said to have already found her wedding dress through a vintage Yves Saint Laurent gown that she’s been saving for months. Vintage wedding dress? Oh that is so Nicole! ***Excited***

“It’s been hanging in the back of her closet. She always planned to wear it on a very special occasion,” the insider shares talks about the dress.

With the news spreading on the grapevine, Nicole’s adoptive father, Lionel Richie could never be happier but shares, “I’m the first one to pay for it and the last one to know!”

Well if this is true, I would definitely be jumping for joy for these two lovely people. I have always been saying here that Joel is the perfect match for Nicole while our dear Nicole is just as great for the rocker. Can’t wait to see Nicole in that said wedding dress. But of course I am more excited for little Harlow who would definitely look uber adorable as a flower girl.

Let’s cross our fingers for this, guys.

No, Nicole Richie will not marry Joel Madden next week as suspected- because of the Good Charlotte tour in Australia, they will have to wait. Last week, TMZ claimed that Nicole and Joel would exchange vows in Laguna, CA on October 13- maybe they changed their minds? TMZ even went as far as to name the wedding planners for the event- can’t a celebrity have a private wedding anymore, this is an invasion of privacy. A source told US Weekly, “We are all laughing about it. The tour is still on and they have no marriage plans yet.” Also wedding organizer, Lorraine Keseloff denied involvement in the alleged Richie/Madden wedding. She says, “I have no idea how this all got started. It’s been the most bizarre weekend. It’s all completely false.”

So apparently, Joel and Nicole are to get married sometime in the next few months, I assume. It would be romantic for it to be a New Years wedding or maybe even a Christmas wedding; I guess only time will tell.

Although the pair do want to walk down the aisle, it won’t be this month as reports have claimed.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are planning to honeymoon in Australia, where their unborn baby was conceived. It was when they spent time there for the Australian MTV Awards early 2007. Apparently Joel Madden and his band, Good Charlotte, are touring Australia in October 07, so there is a chance that they could marry in September. It does appear doubtful that this will
happen because of statements that they won’t marry until their child is born. One thing is true, they fell in love with Australia when they first visited together in early 2007 and will definitely honeymoon there in the future.

Apparently Nicole Richie and Joel Madden will wait until after the birth of their child to get married. Which will be early 2008, if they still plan on marrying each other. She says that she doesn’t want the child to one day think that its parents got married because of pregnancy. One good reason is that Nicole wants the time to plan her dream wedding that she always has wanted. In addition to her upcoming nuptials and her pregnancy, she still has to serve her 96 hour sentence before September 28 for her DUI.

Sources who attended a Hot 99.5 concert last night in D.C., featuring Madden’s band Good Charlotte say that Joel told the crowd that he proposed to Nicole on Thursday. It is looking as if their child will be born in wedlock and hopefully they’ll have a great future together as a family.

According to Perez Hilton, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden ARE getting married soon. I have come to the conclusion that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden will be getting married, just because of the millions of different articles that support it. However, I’m still not sure about the baby, but that will all show shortly once she hits her third month of pregnancy.
