His is one of those celebrity Twitter profiles I enjoy to visit again and again everyday. He’s unexpectedly witty, humorous, and full of insights. And so when I learned that he’s ‘lightly’ penning a book about himself, I couldn’t be any happier for Joel Madden.

That’s right! From being a rocker to a producer and father, People reports that Nicole Richie’s man is exploring on being an author.

Three months ago, Joel Madden Twittered about an incident he had in London where he was almost denied by a BA attendant to get into the flight going to Lisbon due to his tattoos.

As the incident stirred quite a lot of comments from angry fans, we wonder now, what happened after?

Well Joel was caught by the media last Tuesday at the OP launch party and so was asked what happened after that airline incident.

Apparently British Airways never apologized to him for insisting that he cover his tattoos before boarding the flight. But a good man that he is, Joel Madden decided to just let it go and not take any legal action against the airline. He told Daily 10’s Catt Sadler, “I wasn’t really mad about it. But after the fact, I go, That was really wrong, actually.”

I know this is a bit late for a Fathers Day greeting here in Nicole Richie Watch, but I would still do it nonetheless. Happy Fathers Day!

If the previous month we’ve hailed-er acknowledged Nicole Richie for being a magnificent mom to her little angel, Harlow Winter Kate, today is Joel Madden’s turn to be given due recognition for his being a father to his 1-year-old daughter and one coming.

With his image as a rock star, most people would assume Joel to be the carefree, goodie-goodie one. However, since Harlow was born last year, everybody has seen how the rocker that he is was softened. In fact, since becoming a father to Harlow, Joel has all been gushing about his being a father.

Quoted just days after Harlow was born, Joel shared a heartwarming statement of what fatherhood did to him, “I had no idea what love even was until Harlow came along. I swear it’s so hard to leave during the day, but always so rewarding to come home to the little family. I’ve always been a guy who loves to love. Probably one of the things that define me outside of my work is LOVE.”

In his Twitter profile yesterday, Joel also tweeted: “I’ve said stupid things, done stupid things and made alot of mistakes, for all of that i’m sorry, being a Dad kind of gives u a 2nd chance.”

Of course we know Joel isn’t just all words about fatherhood. We’ve seen how hands on he was as far as being a doting father to Harlow is concern. Despite his busy schedule – with all his gigs and shows – we still see Joel spending time with Harlow and of course with Nicole. How lucky Nicole is, right?

Happy Fathers Day!

Obviously helping out another of his rocker friends, Joel Madden has used the music of It Boys for another episode of DCMA TV.

Filming even in a roller coaster, Joel and his friends definitely showed once again how exciting they are living their lives. As usual, Joel looked just gorgeous and hot! We see him and his friends – I think even his brother Benj’s also there – going crazy with each other with photos that Joel has once posted in his Twitter profile.

Well this is the first time I heard the music of the It Boys and it surprisingly ain’t bad at all. In fact, I won’t actually mind having it on my playlist. It’s cool actually. Then again, I guess I wouldn’t appreciate the music much had it not been used in this video.

At least that is what Nicole Richie thinks about her man, Joel Madden. Talking about the rocker’s latest music video with Lost, Nicole Tweets, “what can I say. He speaks english, sings in Italian & kisses in french. He’s a worldly man”.

Well, I actually have to watch that said video to judge for myself. And guess what, he is indeed a worldly man (whatever Nicole meant by that). But really, watching the video I just couldn’t help but swoon over Joel Madden. I was actually paying more attention to Joel than the featured band; sorry it’s just so hard not to pay attention to that blonde rocker singing Italian. Sigh…..

While waiting for the second baby to come, mother and daughter, Nicole Richie and Harlow Winter Kate took themselves for some bonding as they were spotted in Hollywood, reportedly making a pit stop at a Starbucks.

Looking casual in a sweater and a tied-and-dyed bag, Nicole was looking great toting her little Harlow and Harlow’s little giraffe. I don’t know about you but the older she gets, Harlow is looking more and more like her dad, Joel Madden. Other than her sense of fashion probably, Harlow’s got everything in Joel’s look. How’s that for the mini Joel, huh?!

Speaking of Joel, after that bad experience with British Airways – where he almost missed his flight for his tattoos – the Good Charlotte vocalist seems to be in a homesick mode today as he just tweeted about everyone to go tweet Nicole and ask her to call him, he said: “yes. and could someone have Nicole call me? is it sad i have to ask her over twitter so she’ll feel bad and call me? Hey it saves money”

He after a while updated with: “She called me everyone. My girlfriend called me.”

Ahhh… the wonder of Twitter.

You know why these two are still together? Well aside from the fact that they have their cute Harlow and another one on the way, Nicole and Joel are obviously complimenting each other. Joel can have fun without Nicole and vice versa, but at the end of the day, they know it’s still one another they need. Awww…

While Joel Madden just made it clear on his Good Charlotte blog that he isn’t filing any complaint against the British agent that almost did not allow him to board the plain if he would not cover his tattoos, BA bosses are still firm to give that agent a disciplinary action.

“They gave me a little card to fill out. But like i said it really isn’t my style to cause a scene, so ultimately it would be up to me to complain, and i’m not going to file one,” Joel Madden wrote on his blog yesterday.

But since bosses from the British Airways were as baffled as Nicole Richie’s boyfriend for there wasn’t anything in their rulebook about tattoos, the unnamed employee was confirmed to have already been reprimanded.

Apparently, Joel Madden’s tattoo incident with the BA – which he twittered about – has become a big thing even to those not a fan of the rocker. But to Harlow’s dad, that incident is something to smile and laugh about now. He writes in his Good Charlotte blog about how he’s recovered already with the incident and how he’s just glad Nicole and Harlow weren’t with him when that ‘embarrassing experience’ happened.

Here’s what Nicole Richie’s boyfriend wrote:

Wow. I really didn’t not intend for me twittering about my BritAir tattoo incident to get so much attention. At the end of the day who really cares if i make my flight or not? I was mostly laughing about it as i thought most of the people who follow me on twitter would too. A few of the other BA employees were just as surprised as i was. But it was their manager and for some reason i could not file a complaint there. They gave me a little card to fill out. But like i said it really isn’t my style to cause a scene, so ultimately it would be up to me to complain, and i’m not going to file one. I will say I’m glad Nicole and Harlow weren’t with me, then i really would have been embarrassed. At the end of the day it’s as simple as not using the airline, not really worth me going on and on about beyond this. So i hope that is enough for everyone on twitter, no need to get worked up about it. Pretty insane all from a couple twitter posts from my cell phone huh? Thank you all for the concern.
Some good news i made it into the top 12 in the pokerstars tournament in monte carlo. I did pretty good until going all in with pocket 9’s. really stupid of me. Oh well you live and you learn.”

That BA agent ought to be really really thankful Joel ain’t filing any complaint. If that were me – granting I have tats, too – or anybody else, he sure is going to get a doze of it.

I have never really too crazy over rock stars as I find them a bit untidy and err—not so pleasing in the eye, however, seeing Joel Madden with his new ‘do, I couldn’t help but fall in love with it.

Wow! I just couldn’t help but swoon over Nicole Richie’s man’s ‘do. He is just gorgeous!

And being addicted to Twitter that he is, Joel was kind enough to share what his 1-year-old Harlow’s reaction to her daddy’s new hair, he twits: “For those of you who asked. Harlow did recognize me with the hair. Took her a minute, but she gave it a thumbs up. She loves it! so it stays”. But while Harlow loves the new ‘do, Joel also shared what others think of his hair, “At home hung with my mom. Checked on Harlow. Perfect night. Should i watch idol without Nicole. Why yes i should. Everybody hates my hair.”

Oh no, Joel, not everybody hates your hair. Count me in to those who go crazy over it!

While his girlfriend, Nicole Richie is out in Toronto to promote her fashion accessories line, House of Harlow 1960, Joel Madden is left in their home to watch over their little Harlow.

So aside from playing doting father to Harlow, what could the Good Charlotte vocalist be doing without his ‘honey’? – Twitter of course!

Apparently, Nicole’s man has just got addicted to Twitter that with Nicole’s absence, Joel has just been keen to update his every thoughts and activities (probably to update his girlfriend who’s miles away from him).

Here are some of his thoughts that are implying how he misses Nicole:

“At home hung with my mom. Checked on Harlow. Perfect night. Should i watch idol without Nicole. Why yes i should. Everybody hates my hair.”

“Nicole is away working. You know what that means. I get to pick whatever movie i wanna watch on VUDU. HA! NO more ROCO’s or ROMCOM’s” — LOL probably not missing Nicole that bad.

Well, as they all say, when the cat is away, the mouse will watch the movie he wants to watch. **grins**

Joel Madden and his twin brother, Benji celebrated their 30th birthday last Wednesday (March 11). And to show her love for her partner and her daughter’s father on his special day, Nicole Richie throws a lavish birthday party for Joel on the terrace of the Sunset Tower hotel.

Nicole left 1 year old Harlow for the private affair that was attended by more than 35 friends who packed the tented terrace, which was closed off for the evening. The terrace—which has a stunning view of the Los Angeles lights—was presided over by discreet yet formidable security

A nearby diner of the event noted that the party had “a lot of laughing and even some speeches.” Adding, “Nicole and Joel were nestled in the center of the big group and they looked as happy as they could be to be celebrating with their friends. They were beaming in the soft terrace lighting.”

Now isn’t that so sweet of Nicole?

If there is one thing one should never, and I mean never do to a pregnant woman, that is messing with her man.

And I guess this is something that Tila Tequila just recently learned after she just got herself “a shot” after flirting with a pregnant woman’s man. The woman? Our petite, but definitely fierce (at least we know now) lover, Nicole Richie.

The National Enquirer reports that the encounter between Harlow’s mom and the MTV personality happened at an Oscar-night party in Hollywood Hills last February 22 when the sexy reality TV star seemed to make a play for Nic’s baby daddy, Joel Madden.

“As soon as Tila saw Joel, she ran up to him and started acting super flirty-grabbing and hugging him,” a spywitness tells The National Enquirer.

“Nicole had her back turned. But when she realized that Tila was all over him, she ran up and yelled, ‘Joel..JOEL!,” continues the source.

Nicole pulled Joel away to the couple’s table, but that wasn’t a big enough of a hint for Tila, who continued pursuing Joel in the presence of her pregnant companion. When she tried approaching Joel a second time, all Hell broke loose.

“That was the last straw for Nicole. She got right in Tila’s face and screamed, ‘Back off and get out of here.’”

Tila stood her ground for a few moments, but left the affair red-faced with shame once she realized Nicole’s outburst had made her the laughing stock of the party.

Serves Tila, right. Go Nicole!

I was just wondering though, what has Joel been doing while the sexy starlet’s making her moves on him? Just stand up and wait ‘til Nicole saves him? Come on… while I hate women messing around with my man, I would be more pissed to find out my man enjoying women flirting on him.

Well I don’t know what really happened. We know Joel loves Nicole. That’s for sure.

Actually, it isn’t just some Hollywood birthday bash, it is one extravagant party for Cruz Beckham’s 4th birthday which was held at XMA Martial Arts place in North Hollywood last weekend (February 21).

While the birthday celebrant and his brothers donned on their coolest superhero costumes, - Cruz as Iron Man – our little Harlow dressed up casually fashionable looking contented in the arms of her rocker dad.

I don’t know with you but I think Harlow really is a miniature version of her dad; her eyes, brows, mouth, and facial expression is so Joel! Totally cute!
