No, Nicole Richie is still very much with Joel Madden and Pete Wentz is still very much married to Ashlee Simpson. But good friends as they are, the two have teamed up for a fashion show to showcase their respective clothing lines.

Last Thursday (June 4), the two celebrities attended the House of Harlow 1960 and Clandestine Industries Switch Boutique fashion show at Boulevard3 in Hollywood, California. With Pete looking unusually neat and tidy in a black ensemble and Nicole radiant in a charming tunic, the fashion show has served as another bonding moment for the pals and their families – Ashlee was their to support her husband and Joel for Nicole.

Meanwhile, as if playing publicist to Pete, Nicole managed to save the singer with the media’s asking about the alleged fight between Pete’s wife Ashlee and his ex-girlfriend, Michelle Trachtenberg, she said: “That’s not appropriate.”

Such a good friend Nicole is huh. Obviously she really does adore Pete (in probably the most probably way) as she once updated her Twitter page saying, “@JoelMadden well @petewentz is very charming, sweet, handsom… Now that I think about it honey, maybe its best you stay home.”

Well I personally am not a fan of Pete Wentz as most of the times he’s being such a douche but if our dear Nicole adores him this much, I guess there must be something special about him.

Once pregnant, I sure know how it feels when insecurity and hormones strike all together. I always had that feeling that I’m getting uglier and uglier as days pass by and as my baby bump grows everyday.

But I guess some girls just get all the luck to be looking prettier and prettier with their pregnancy. Nicole Richie must be one of these girls.

With her Jet thrashed jeans matched with a simple grey ‘tee over a black ‘tee, who would ever think of insecurity and hormones when Nicole is nothing but a picture of a happy, pretty, and excited mom-to-be. In fact, had it not been for that bump, I wouldn’t think she’s pregnant at all!

Oh, how I wish I can just be Nicole. On second thought, I’m not so might as well stick with that.

Known to be one of this generation’s biggest fashion icons, Nicole Richie is reported to be launching her own shoe collection, too.

Yup. After the success of her jewelry collection named, House of Harlow 1960, which was debuted late last year, the mother to Harlow and Joel Madden’s girlfriend is said to be launching her shoe collection in Spring next year.

In partnership with Modern Vintage shoes and Earnest Sewn jeans, Nicole’s shoe collection will showcase the former Simple Life star’s own designs.

“Nicole is designing everything herself. She’s totally devoted to this, and we’re creating a whole lifestyle around her aesthetic and what is true to her,” said Rick Cytrynbaum, co-owner of the labels.

Now with Nicole’s funky and unique style, it sure is exciting to look forward to her own fashion collection.

I’ve mentioned on my previous post that Nicole Richie has recently launched her official website, http://nicolerichie.celebuzz.com/. With the site having its fashion corner, Nicole shares to her fans some tips (and secrets) to her hit looks.

Here’s what she shared about a bad hair day solution called, Brazilian blow dry:

“A good friend turned me on to a new hair straightening method called the Brazilian blow dry and I’m completely inspired to share it with you!

Now I have the freedom to not have to blow dry my hair every time I wash it. I can go swimming and not have to worry about frizz.
Not to sound cheesy, but I’m so glad to have discovered this and I hope you curly girls find this information useful!”

After debuting her burgeoning baby bump at the “What Comes Around Goes Around” Fall 2009 Collection Launch last Wednesday (March 18) at Space 15 Twenty in California, socialite and fashionista, Nicole Richie continues to show off in public her tasty maternity style at the “Evening of 20th Century Glamour” benefiting MOCA.

Clad in a scarf-print dress with an asymmetrical hem and her favorite vintage clutch, it is indeed undeniable that the mom to Harlow is glowing with her second pregnancy.

And without having to compromise her unique sense of fashion, I guess this again is the time for Nicole to really test her ‘dressing-up’ skills.

Meanwhile, with probably still on her first trimester, don’t you think Nicole’s tummy has grown so fast? ‘Guess the reports of her having twins have basis.

Ready to meet and greet her fans to promote her jewelry line called, House of Harlow 1960, Nicole Richie was beaming as she arrives the Kitson Melrose store in Los Angeles yesterday (March 7).

Channeling a Greek goddess look, in a long cream dress, tan gladiator style sandals and wearing all her own House of Harlow 1960 jewellery, from head band, to rings, necklace and tons of bangles, the pregnant fashionista was in a great mood, laughing, joking and signing autographs for a couple hours.

I must say Nicole has just got me speechless with her look; really breathtaking that I can’t take my eyes off it. The white maxi dress was a smart choice to don with her condition now; it of course made way for her accessories to be in the limelight.

This ain’t Celebrity Fashion Watch but I love it love it love it!

I know, I know. This is news is not what you may call the latest, but still, I am delighted to report that Nicole Richie has been named Best Tressed for 2009 by BeautyRiot.com

The website is for women who are “seeking solutions to beauty questions.” And according to the people behind the site, the sytlish mom, Nicole, has had her photos viewed by more site visitors than any other celebrities for January 2009. Yes, it is quite true that she continues to inspire young (and old) women to do their best when it comes to fashion, hair, and beauty. The mother to Harlow, and girlfriend to Joel Madden, has various hairstyle and beauty photos published in the site, along with over 170 other popular female celebrities.

Although the new mom has been keeping a relatively low profile since giving birth to daughter, Harlow, that did not stop the site’s viewers to seek after her hairstyles. Another new mom, Ashlee Simpson, who gave birth to her baby boy, Bronx Mowglie last November, came in at second place. Ash is also a consistent favorite among the BeautyRiot.com audience. Another fave, gorgeous Jessica Alba, came in at third.

In April last year, it was reported that Nicole was partnering with jeweler Pascal Mouawad to design and release the first’s very own jewelry collection. Influenced by Nicole’s love of the 60s and 70s, “the collection is targeted at girls in their teens to women in their 30s who admire her and the prices range from $30 to $150. Mouawad is aiming to put Richie’s pieces, which feature fabric, leather, silk strings, chains, rivets, feathers and gold-plated metals.”

It was in December that Joel Madden’s partner finally unveiled the jewelry line at Hollywood ’s famed Kitson boutique. Honoring her daughter Harlow and the pieces’ design inspiration, the collection was named “House of Harlow 1960”. Showcasing 35 pieces of unique jewelry, Nicole’s collection is made with leather, chains, gold-plated metal, crystals and peacock feathers giving each piece that unique and retro fashionista feel.

Asked about what she can say with her jewelry line, Nicole once said, “I’ve always felt that great accessories are essential in every complete outfit and I wanted to create a collection that was easy to mix and match; to either wear alone as an everyday piece, or stack on to make more of a statement.” Adding, “I love accessories. You can wear the same jeans and T-shirt every day and make it look completely different just by accessorizing.”

And looking at every piece that Nicole models wherever she goes, I know for sure no fashionista can resist its charm and style.

With her unique taste for fashion and extreme love in styling, would we ever be surprise to see our very own Nicole Richie sitting on the front row in the Fashion Week? – Of course not!

And so showing her support and love to Zac Posen, Harlow’s mom sits beside another celebrity A-lister, Alicia Keys for the designer’s Fall 2009 collection during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week at The Tent in Bryant Park in New York last Thursday (February 19).

Zac Posen is one of America’s most promising designers who, at 28 has dressed up several Hollywood celebrities already including Claire Danes, Rachel Bilson, Alicia Keys, and our very own Nicole.

It sure is great seeing our petite fashionista enjoying the night of fashion! We love that glow in her and we know she is indeed having a great time.

While I’ve always thought Nicole Richie’s fashion statements have always been flawless, I think this one here at the Jenni Kayne and Andy Lecompte Salon Party last night is somehow on the miss side.

Although looking like a Bohemian princess in her red and white Issa tunic with a headband from her own House of Harlow 1960 accessories collection, I think Nicole has been sporting on a lot of Bohemian looks lately that this one isn’t surprising anymore. The python clutch and camel colored heels may probably be a head turner but not really enough for one to be in awe.

All in all I’d say Nicole ought to try another look next time, we’ve had so much Bohemian from her already maybe a new look highlighting an accessory from her collection wouldn’t be so bad.

Nicole Richie has won last year’s Celebrity Fashion Watch 1st Fashion Countdown for Fashionista of the Year and Vavavooom Mom categories. With that, I guess it’s safe to say that Nic has indeed have proven herself already in the fashion department.

However, arriving with her partner Joel Madden at the Art of Elysium 2nd Annual Heaven Gala in California last January 10, I believe Nic ought to do some refitting and yeah, restyling.

Her strapless Jasmine di Milo gown, although giving her that ethereal look seems to be unfitting on the top one would worry it would fall. And yeah, the gown would somehow bring back rumors of Nicole having eating disorders again.

Oh well, at least she’s the most beautiful woman in Joel’s eyes that night. And I guess that’s all that mattered.
