Any rumors that Hillary Duff has been causing trouble can be put to rest. After Richie’s interview with Diane Sawyer, Duff sent Madden a text message congratulating the two on their pregnancy. That’s the word from Us Weekly, which says the starlet, 19, sent a text to her self-described “first love” after his impending fatherhood with Nicole Richie was confirmed during their recent interview with Diane Sawyer. “After they appeared on ‘Good Morning America,’ Hilary breezily texted Joel congratulations on the pregnancy, and Joel warmly responded,” an adverb-happy mole tells the mag. It’s good that Hillary got past her jealousy and showed some vast maturity- good job Hillary!

Pregnant socialite Nicole Richie is said to be at a “high risk” of a miscarriage. Richie, who recently announced she was four months pregnant with ‘Good Charlotte’ rocker Joel Madden’s baby, was recently rushed to the hospital after she noticed some bleeding. Friends of the reality TV star say that she was very scared and thought she was going to miscarry. Doctors reassured her the baby was fine, but encouraged her to eat much more. They said Richie suffered from “nutritional deficiency.”
Experts say that her health makes her pregnancy risky. Troy Hailparn, an ob-gyn who hasn’t treated Richie, said: “She is absolutely at a greater danger of miscarrying than most women. Through some miracle, she managed to get pregnant and survive the first trimester, when most women with her history would suffer a miscarriage – but she’s not out of the woods yet.”

”Until now, Joel seemed to be dragging his heels when Nicole insisted they get married right away, the friend says. “He really hadn’t had time to process it all. The prospect of becoming a father was a pretty heavy hammer on him,” the friend says.
“But seeing how scared Nicole was about going to court brought out his protective streak. He truly wanted to give her something to hang onto. There are many times I thought he would throw in the towel with her, but the truth is, he really does love her.”

Pregnant reality TV star Nicole Richie was reportedly rushed to hospital recently, fearing she was suffering a miscarriage. She noticed bleeding and worried she would lose her baby at the end of last month, just after she and rocker boyfriend Joel Madden returned to Los Angeles from a tour with his band Good Charlotte. However, doctors quickly assured the four-months pregnant Richie her baby is safe, but did encourage her to eat more to feed the unborn child. She plans on living a very healthy and respectable life, and to set a good example for young girls.
